APS6 Project Officer

Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Project Officers who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within health for the Federal government sector.

About your new role

In this APS6 role, you will drive the creation of vital infection prevention and control tools, such as eLearning modules and updated clinical guides, specifically for the aged care sector. You will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from conducting evidence-based research and data analysis to managing procurement and tracking budgets.

Additionally, you will act as a key coordinator, providing secretariat support for committees and building productive relationships with clinical stakeholders to ensure all resources meet high safety and quality standards

What you will need to exceed

• Produce complex written materials, such as briefing notes, submissions, and discussion papers, tailored for both technical and general audiences.
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills to review data and expert opinions, using that information to provide sound advice for project initiatives.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, monitor project progress, and handle financial administration, including budget preparation and monitoring
  
• Proficient in government procurement principles, contract management, and providing secretariat support for committees.

Must have

• Must be an Australian citizen

Desirable

• Understanding of the Australian aged care system and its key stakeholders
• Experience with SAP Concur or similar financial systems, as well as customer support ticketing systems.
